ABOUT PRAISE REVIVAL CENTER

 

Praise Revival Center was established in October, 1994. In December of 1996, Pastor Al Festin and his wife, Sis. Mabelen, took over the pastorate of the church, and in mid 1997 it was registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-stock, non-profit religious organization. Through the years, Praise Revival Center members have seen how God made the church grow, and this growth has undeniably increased the prosperity of the people.  Through the years, Praise Revival Center has grown steadily in number, in organization and materially.  The members have witnessed the gracious hands of God moved to bring about this growth.  Likewise, they also have undeniably witnessed the increase of their prosperity level as God faithfully showed His goodness on them.

The church remains committed in fulfilling the plan of God by developing ministries and opportunities that equip the body of believers. Today, more people are giving their lives to Jesus in the main services, fellowships, crusades, and connect groups. Praise Revival Center has reinvented itself and is positioning the church to be a prime mover winning souls in Davao City and beyond.

 


MISSION


PRAISE REVIVAL CENTER – DAVAO, INC. is a congregation of Christian born-again believers that exists to bring the transformational light of Christ to the city of Davao and the entire Philippines throughcommunity outreaches, media, development of church ministries, church services, special trainings, Bible education and seminars, in a creative manner, bringing disciples to maturity in Christ to become excellent, prosperous and successful servants, living a pleasing lifestyle as a true act of worship before God.


TENENTS OF FAITH

 

Praise Revival Center – Davao, Inc.
Is ruled by the following doctrines of faith based on the Bible as our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice:

 

  • We believe that the Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are INSPIRED of God and they are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

  • We believe in the ONE TRUE God who is revealed in three persons (or three equal parts or members): the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ. That is, that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, He is the Second Person of the Triune God, He is the Word of God and God Himself as John states, "In the Beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God". John 1:1 (NIV)

  • We believe in the Virgin Birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. That Jesus, the Son of God, came into the flesh through a virgin named Mary in the Scripture in fulfillment of the prophecy of Isaiah 7:14:"Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel". (KJV)

  • We believe in the fall of man. We believe that man was originally created good and upright but by voluntary transgression he fell, thus, incurring not only physical death which is separation from God.

  • We believe in God's salvation plan. We believe that God sent His Son, born of a virgin, to die on the cross for our sins and rose again on the third day to live forevermore so that all who call on Him shall be saved, justified, and have eternal life. This salvation plan is man's only hope of redemption, and was made possible through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • We believe in Water Baptism and the Holy Communion as the ordinances of the Church.

  • We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

  • We believe in Sanctification as an act of separation from which is evil, and of dedication to God.

  • We believe that the Church, composed of born again believers, is the Body of Christ and the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission.

  • We believe in the Threefold Divinely-Called and Scripturally-Ordained Ministry that leads the church in worship to God, evangelization of the world and the building of a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son.

  • We believe that Divine Healing is an integral part of man's redemption as revealed in the Gospel. Deliverance from sickness and diseases is provided for in the atonement, and is a privilege of every believer in Jesus.

  • We believe in the Pre-tribulation Rapture as the Blessed Hope of every believer. Jesus will come for His people in the clouds and those who died in Him will be resurrected and translated into the heavens together with those who remain alive unto His coming. And we believe that this hope is imminent.

  • We believe in the Millennial Reign of Christ. We believe that Jesus will come again the second time and that he will establish His physical kingdom here on earth for one thousand years, bringing national salvation for the nation of Israel and the establishment of universal peace.

  • We believe in the Final Judgment in which all the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Those names that are not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the Lake of Fire.

  • We believe in the New Heaven and the New Earth. According to His promise, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness will dwell forever and ever.

  • We believe in giving the Worship and Praise that is due Him. We believe that God must be given praise skillfully through music, singing, shouting, laughing, crying, dancing, leaping, clapping, bowing down, lifting up of the hands, joyful and loud noise, thanksgivings and tongues.

  • We believe in Faith and Confession. We believe that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, and that without faith, it is impossible to please God.

  • We believe in the dynamism of God's Word and can be made manifest as one stands on the Word of God and confessing its truth with the mouth.

  • We believe that God wants us all to Prosper. We believe God delights in the prosperity of His people and He doesn't want them to be poor so that they can be instruments through which the Gospel can be preached to all the world. We believe that the main key here is giving and tithing.

  • We believe in the Last Days Outpouring. There is a mighty outpouring of the Holy Ghost in the last days as prophesied in Joel 2:28-32 and Acts 2:17-20. Such outpouring of the Spirit will bring about the end-time harvest before the coming of the Lord. This outpouring is characterized by righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. This is given to refresh, revive and strengthen God's people in the last days.
